What have we been up to???

So far it has been amazing living down here. I love getting to see Pete everyday and watching him take care of Ava. It actually makes me love him more. We have been having so much fun as a family!! Yesterday we all took a quick trip to the beach. I wanted to get some pictures of the baby with her feet in the water. The water was so warm. She didn't scream, she's going to love the beach so much more next month. I can't wait for our vacation!!!

Everyone who knows me knows that I do not cook. Now that I'm living down here I pretty much have to. Either that or I die LOL. So far everything I have been cooking has been really yummy. I'm proud of myself. I even made cookies the other day haha. Pete has been great too because he washes the dishes after I'm done cooking. Thats a huge help because I'm so tired after running around in the kitchen like a chicken with it's head cut off!

Ava really is growing up so fast. It almost makes me sad. What happend to my little newborn who used to just lay there?? She rolls around in her crib at night, and whenever she is in our bed. She just can't sit still. I'm still sad she's sleeping in her own room! Take your time growing up sweetie. Here are some pictures of my baby..

She loves this thing. It makes animal sounds when you push the buttons and she only pushes the lion one. As cute as it is, I wish she would push another button because the lion is getting annoying lol !!



Our New House!

I'm so in love with my house!! It's nice to finally be together as a family. Ava is so happy when Pete's around. She smiles and talks to him all day long. I love it. Getting here was quite an adventure. It seemed like everything was going wrong. Ava and me had a lot of stuff that we had to bring down here. We needed to rent a trailer. Before we could do that I had to get a hitch installed on my SUV. The dude at pep boys who was supposed to do it couldn't because his wife went into labor. The other mechanic told me that it would be done by 9am on Tuesday. It wasn't ready till 1pm. I'm suprised Pete didn't go down there and kill him because he was PISSED. I was too though lol. We ended up leaving around at 2pm and getting to NC at 1:30am. It was the longest ride ever! Ava did very good in the car. Benji did surprisingly well too. I was surprised he didn't get sick!! 3 Months Old

Ava had her 3 month Dr's visit on the 16th. We couldn't take her on the 17th because that was moving day. We got there 10 minutes late because I had to rush home from Benji's vet to get all his paper work done. She is really getting so big. She's is 14.2 lbs and 25 and a half inches long!! The doctor kept saying how advanced she is. She was rolling around and holding her neck up soo good. She even had a mini conversation with the doctor. When it was time to get her shots, I freaked out. They gave her 2 shots, in each leg. She was screaming. It broke my heart. Doctors need to learn how to give that medicine in oral solutions. Before I put her in the car seat she looked right at me and poked out her bottom lip. I could've cried. That night she got a little fever but it went away right in time for when daddy came. I love hand me downs!!

I'm always willing to take clothes that need a new home. Liz has been so good with giving me all her girl's old clothing. They are in such good shape and super adorable. I even take boy hand me downs..well one. My nephews. My mom was packing up some of his clothes to give away to the salvation army and I saw his old Yankees outfit and I just had to keep it. I told her, I need this because I'll be pregnant some day. Who knew that I was going to get pregnant a week after saying that!!

I love my daughter with all my heart. She's my favorite person...Pete too lol. I wouldn't change a thing about her. One of the things that she got from her mommy was my big head. Ava has a huge head! Sorry sweetie that's all my fault. Anyways she likes to swing around that huge head. Last night she head butted me in my nose. When I woke up this morning I had a black eye and bruised nose. I had an x-ray done...and it revealed that I had a hairline fracture. Thanks love! I'll remember this when you ask to go out on the weekends lol! I was going to put up a picture of this..but I feel much better with a face full of makeup hiding the bruises! Wish it would hide the swelling!

I've been soo busy lately. All I do is pack. Can't wait to be done with it!! I'm getting more and more excited about moving to NC. Pete had the walk through at the house today! I love it soo much. He's already moving his stuff into the house. I can't wait to decorate Ava's room. It's going to be an explosion of pink! Now for adorable pictures...
