What is wrong with me???

I've been debating writing about this so early but here it is. I'm pregnant. Around 4 weeks, and we are all very excited!! We are hoping and praying that the little one sticks and we feel very confident about it. Took a long  3 months to get that positive!! Well it felt like a long time to us lol.  So this post may be a little too much information for some , but I want to remember everything. March 5th was the first day of my last period. I remember laying in bed with Pete and saying, "this cycle is our last chance to have a 2015 baby".  So then one Friday night at Pete's parents house for dinner I was talking to Beth about the whole thing. She said it can't hurt to get an ovulation test since I'm so irregular. So I went to Target (Ava's favorite store) and picked up one. They were ridiculously expensive so I picked up the cheapest ones I could find. The first day I used it, it was positive. That meant that we had 24-48 hours to do the deed lol. Maybe 5 days after the deed was done, I was at my parents house and I was eating popcorn and I got heartburn. WEIRD because this never happens. The next day my stomach started hurting pretty bad. Now I'm the kind of person who always assumes the worst will happen. So in my mind I'm dying lol. I'm searching Web MD trying to cure myself, and I figured maybe I'm just constipated. Then the next day I get the runs....there goes that idea. While I was telling Pete he just said maybe your having an off week. After I pooped my brains out I started to get really thirsty. Which could be normal because my body might have been dehydrated. I have this water bottle that holds 32 oz of water and I was drinking about 7 of them a day. 2 days later Pete was downstairs getting ready for work, and I could tell you the exact moment that he sprayed his cologne even with my bedroom door closed. That's the exact moment when I thought OMG I may actually be pregnant!
The day after that I went to Stop and shop to get Pete bread and mustard and I threw up right in the bread isle! SO EMBARRASSING and I refuse to go there ever again. I wanted to clean up but the lady who worked there, and saw the whole thing told me don't worry about it. She also put a clearance sticker on some pregnancy tests because she felt bad for me. The next morning I woke up super early before Pete went to work, and I took a test and there was the faintest line. I was so excited!! I ran to the bathroom and started banging on the door and Pete hopped out the shower and I said "you did it! you knocked me up" haha. So he throws on a towel, runs in the other bathroom and goes..."i hardly see the line" LOL.

Pete wasn't too convinced so the next day I took another test and the line got a tad bit darker.

I called my Ob and they said to take a digital test and if that comes up positive call and make an appointment. So I went to walgreens and picked the cheapest one hoping that it will still be able to give me such an early positive result.

there it was a big fat yes!! 

I actually called to make an appointment today for April 28th. So God willing we will make it to that date! We are all very excited and so is Ava. She's going to be such a great big sister!

SO yes, it's finally blog official and I'm so happy to be sharing our happy news so that I never forget these moments. And lucky me the one thing that I seem to have a craving for is salad...crazy I know but it sure beats the cheese craving I had last time.

So I figured I'd blog again

The last time I wrote on here I was super busy. I was about to lose my grandmother and I wasn't really feeling the whole share my life thing. Then Ava asked me when did she first get out of the crib and I realized I didn't remember. SO since my memory sucks, and my family wants me to keep posting so here I am. I lost my grandma, on Feb 26th 2014.  Fast forward to this year, I lost my grandfather on Feb 13. I'm sure they are both driving each other nuts up there and I miss them both more than anything.

That was a really hard time for me and my family, but now we all know that neither of them are in pain anymore and that means everything to me.

So on to some more things that happened when I didn't blog.  

rode some horses

turned 2 (got potty trained before her second birthday)

got attacked by a spider. Still don't know how she got bit. She woke up with them. 

became obsessed with frozen like every girl under 13 in America 

got caught wearing mommy's lipstick

always wants to take a picture when she's in a nice dress, which is always ok with me lol

discovered how fun bandaids can be.

ate her first lunch able 

hates the cold lol

loves tattoos

and babies lol.

does crazy yoga moves with Ashley in Barnes and Noble

Then kisses her

even got a high score. Pete helped a little lol

I'm now planning her 3rd birthday party and I can't believe it! She grew so much from last year and I honestly feel like I'm talking to a grown up during me and Ava's conversations. She's the sweetest most stubborn girl in the world. Just the other day when me and Pete took her to shop rite, a man sneezed and she said "god bless you old man". She could've left out the old man part but she's such a sweet heart...unless she doesn't get her way...then her scream I kid you not, could break glass lol
