I like big buns, and I cannot lie...

Ava is really a girly girl. She read this one book about ballerina's and the whole time I was reading I was so impressed by how still she was. It was a HUGE book and she didn't move once. As soon as I was done the book she looked at me and says "mommy I need my hair just like that ballerina." Since then, she basically has a bun in her hair, every other day. Not just any bun. A sock bun. Because if I don't use a sock to make it bigger, the bun isn't big enough and then the tears start!

But oh wait..this is what happens when I go downstairs to put something in the oven. I come back to see a very serious little girl putting on my makeup.

What can I say, My little girl knows what she wants. I tried to do something special and asked her "ava do you want to be in a ballet class?" She said "oh no mommy, I just want the hair." Whatever you say kid!

We love summer!!

I'm so glad that summer is here!! It's so nice being able to spend time outside at my parents, at the beach or the pool!! Ava has been having a blast and even saw her first movie in the movie theater! She went with the Bea's and Mya was meeting up with some friends which was perfect because Ava got Ashley all to herself!

As soon as we found seats, Ashley took a seat by me (because I had a Lemonade slushy) and Ava took a seat right by her Uncle Ryan. The whole movie I heard her asking him questions lol, she ADORES him!

We also finally got to the beach. Its either horrible weather on the weekend, or Pete is working. So when he politely told his Uncle Frank that he wasn't working lol, we headed down.

It's a GIRL!!!

Oh my goodness I'm so excited!! I always knew deep down that it was a girl, but Pete and my family honestly thought it was a boy. This pregnancy is so different from the last one, so that was enough to convince anyone. I like to think that God just wanted to give me a break this time LOL. I'm so excited that Ava will have a little sister. Someone to share secrets with, have a good time with, and lets be real...fight with lol. Thank goodness we didn't throw away any of Ava's old clothes, because it will be so special seeing our little one in them!
