5 Months Old!!!

I'm skipping so much stuff, and just getting right to this. This month Ava is sitting up like a pro. SO much so that we even took away her infant tub seat and she just sits directly in the tub!! She eats so much more food now. She had sweet potatoes,prunes, peas, green beans, squash, pineapple, way too much that I can't even remember it. Now she eats stage 2 food because she can sit on her own. She is doing so good with it. She basically eats a whole container of food for breakfast and dinner.The doctor wants us to start giving her lunch, so were slowly getting into that. She's growing up so much. If she wants you she reaches up for you and my heart just melts. My favorite thing is when we are napping in my bed and she wakes up before me and wakes me up by rubbing my face. I LOVE IT. She's the happiest in the morning. All smiles. When we went in for her 5 month appt we found out that she is 19lbs and 28 inches long. The Dr could not believe she grew 2 inches in one month. She's getting so big!! She wears 12-18 month clothing. 9 month onsies don't even come close to snapping lol. Here are pictures of her being 5 months old!

4 months old!!!

I know...I'm soooo late with this. I've been super busy and I've been having a hard time getting anything done. It could be from the lack of sleep I've been getting. Ava must wake up at least 4 times a night and it is slowly killing me. The biggest stretch that we've gotten with her sleeping is 3 hours. Not enough. Things were so much easier when she was a newborn. She still hates naps. She might take one 20 min. nap a day. INSANE. I'm shocked she's still growing so much since she isn't sleeping. Anywho, this month is when we started her on solids (stage 1 baby food). She ate apples, peaches and pears this month. She also had rice cereal. I've cut out the rice cereal because they linked the daily consumption of rice to cancer, so we might be trying oatmeal soon.

When she went to the Dr for her 4 month check up her appointment was still in Jersey. I miss that Dr so much. She had 2 shots and didn't even cry!!

She weighed in at 16lbs and she was 26inches. Off the charts once again. We have a big girl over here lol. Now for the 4 month pictures!!
