Daddy daughter time!

Pete has been amazing with Ava. You can tell they really adore eachother. They lay in bed at night and they talk nonstop. It's the cutest thing. We went to a BBQ the other day and whenever Ava would hear him her whole head would turn to try to find him. I hope they always have a close bond. Here are some great pictures of the two of them.

I finally have time to update!!

WOW. I have been so busy!! So much has been going on. First things first. My baby has stopped sleeping!!! She wakes up twice a night now. Last night she woke up 4 times!! I could cry. She always starts out in her crib but now she ends up in bed with us. I didn't want to start this but it's so much easier than being so tired and us having to make our way to her room. And she only lets Pete put her in her crib never me. I don't understand this lol.  Hopefully this is just a cruel joke that she's playing on us and she'll start sleeping again soon!! She still doesn't take "real" naps during the day, so it's hard to manage. I feel like I could fall asleep at any given moment.
We will all be home soon so hopefully I'll be able to rest a bit. It sucks that Pete will only be in NJ for only 1 whole day (not counting the day when he has the state trooper physical test cause he wont be with me). This time when we go home we wont be bringing back Benji :(  All the Vets down here are super shady and no one does boarding for dogs. We can't leave him alone for our short trip to Jersey and we can't leave him alone when we go on vacation down in NC. It breaks my heart but I'm happy my parents can keep him for awhile. I WILL be bringing him back down in November!! I'm going to miss him so much. He's my shadow and he follows me everywhere so it's going to be really sad without him.
