Ava has a green thumb

I'm not really sure what got into Pete one day, but he randomly got Ava dressed for the day (which never happens) and then informed me that they were going to Home Depot to get flowers to plant lol. As crazy and random as it was Ava LOVED the idea and now she loves to take care of everyones flowers!

The Carnival

Every year we go to the carnival and this year was no exception. Only difference is this is the first year of probably my entire life, that I can't go on one ride this summer. If you know me really well you should know this kills me!! Good thing Ava has Pete to drag on rides this year!!

This picture makes me laugh so hard. Since me and my sister have a 13 year age difference, when I would go to a carnival, or be on the board walk I would always make a random friend to go on rides with because my sister was way too old to go on stuff like this with me lol. Ava totally made a random friend so Mya and Ash could ride together

Every Pregnancy is different!!

So here we are at 12 weeks pregnant!! Finally. I already feel like I've been pregnant forever because I knew at like 3 weeks haha. So a lot has happened since I got a positive pregnancy test, so let's get into it. I had my first appointment at around 7 weeks because I had some spotting. Talk about scary, I was a nervous wreck. Since my blood type is O negative and Pete is O positive, this time my body freaked out. My body was trying to reject the baby. So now every 3 months I have to get a Rogham shot to put everything back in order. I also found out that the baby was measuring about a week and a half bigger than it should be. Can't say I'm surprised about that since Ava was 9lbs. This time around I also have low blood pressure. Like it gets really low sometimes. The lowest that it has been is 99/55. On June 1st I get to start a medicine that will hopefully bring that back up. I do feel that it's correcting itself because I haven't been so dizzy like I was in the past. Most recently I went to the hospital on the 22nd. Turns out I have a hernia lol. They plan on removing it when I have my c-section since non of the doctors want me to have a vaginal birth. SOOO yea there is a lot going on but I'm still really excited to get to hold my baby at the end of this. 28 more weeks to go!!

Happy Birthday Jason!

My nephew turned 13 years old on May 12th . I can't believe it. He's a teenager. It makes me so sad thinking about it. 13 years ago your momma was going into labor watching spiderman in the movie theater and now here you are. You are so smart and so funny and an amazing big cousin to Ava. She looks up to you so much and always wants to be around you. Even though sometimes I can tell you want your space, you always let her follow you around. Your also her bodyguard. I feel so bad for the future boys in her life lol. And just cause you tower me, just remember I'm still the boss!

Happy Birthday Liz!!

To celebrate Liz's birthday, a whole bunch of people went to a restaurant called 3 west. Of course since this was super early in my pregnancy I thought I was going to die the whole time lol. I drank water and ginger ale the whole time and for dinner I ordered the Veal chop. It sounded great at the time but as soon as they put it in front of me the gagging started. So Pete had 2 dinners that night. I was able to eat dessert thank goodness and I got apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. And I stole like 2 mini donuts from Rachel. It was still great being able to get away for awhile. Nona and dewey watched all 3 of the girls that night. At first Ava didn't seem so sure about it, but now she says she wants to try again. So who knows. We have to make sure they are up to it though because Ava refuses to sleep for anyone other than mommy or daddy lol.

Her actual birthday was on May 10th which fell on Mother's Day this year. We headed over that day and it was gorgeous outside. Ryan made a yummy cake and we all had a great time.

Zach and Lorianna's Wedding

The morning of the wedding I woke up SUPER nauseous. I must've ate about 100 saltines. Healthy right? Anyway we flew down the morning of the wedding (big thanks to the in-laws for letting us use their miles) on May 2nd. Our travel buddy was Frank because Liz got the stomach bug before the wedding. Glad you feel better!!! When we touched down in NC Peter and Karen picked us up in a Kia Sedona. I pretty much fell in love with that van. I always liked them, but I will never need one since we are only having 2 kids...Despite what Pete thinks. Like I don't care if we win the lottery. Pregnancy is not fun lol. We were staving from our hour and a half flight so we stopped at Cookout. This was me and Pete's favorite fast food place when we lived in NC and it was still so yummy. The hamburgers are straight off the grill and into your hand. I couldn't eat any of my beloved hushpuppies that day because like last pregnancy, I can't eat anything with potato. We all ate at the hotel and then me and Pete took the longest nap before the wedding.
