North Carolina 2013

Ok. Let's pretend for a second that this post is going up during the summer...I needed a bit of a break from blogging. So much has been going on with the family so I've been busy getting all of that in order. Things aren't back to normal yet but I'm glad to say that my grandfather will be going back home with my mother in November. My grandmother is now having issues (we can't get a break) and hopefully that will be resolved soon.
OK so this is our second year that we went to NC for vacation. Last year Ava was 4 months so it was SUPER easy to take care of her and enjoy our time. This time was different. We have a wild child who is obsessed with stairs, and the house we rented just happened to be full of them. I don't think I ever walked so much in my life. Her fear of water was gone, so we did have a blast in the ocean and pool. I can only imagine how next year will be. We also got to spend some time with Pete's Aunt Julie, Uncle dave and best friend John!!
