Ava does dance

One morning when I was fixing Ava breakfast she searching Netflix trying to find something to watch. She came across this show called, Angelina Ballerina. I used to read those books all the time as a kid, so I thought it was adorable as a show. While eating she was GLUED to the tv. She normally is walking all around the house, but the show kept her focused. As soon as the credits rolled, she told me she wanted to do ballet. I couldn't believe she had actually asked me that, but I got super excited. Luckily I have a friend I went to school with who teaches a class for 3 and 4 year olds. I texted her on tuesday asking how soon could I get her in. We went in the next day!!!! This morning when Ava woke up she said "can I go to dance now??" She was so excited. She ate a huge breakfast and then we tried to find something for her to wear. I'm surprised we even left the house because she must've tried on about 20 dresses.
this ended up being the winner!!

She had to wear sneakers to dance class because they also do tap dancing. I refused to buy her any legit ballet stuff until we were sure if she liked it.

when we pulled up to the building she unbuckled herself and tried to escape the moving car. Good thing for child lock!!

When we walked in we saw Kristen (my friend and her teacher) and we went on a little tour. We got to see some big girls doing gymnastics and the big girls dancing. THEY LOOKED AMAZINGGG! My body hurt just watching what they could do. When the first little girls started coming in Ava got so upset. She kept saying "i have the wrong clothes mommy". I thought we were going to have a breakdown!! I told her, if she likes it we will go get her all the correct stuff. Soon it was time for the girls to all go in the room. Ya know...the big room that none of the parents are allowed in...I just knew Ava was going to freak out!! I stay with her everyday....surely she would miss me...Well when I went in for a hug...I got a high five...and she left me...for a WHOLE hour!
thats ok Ava. I guess I'll be the only one crying today!!

10 minutes before class ended, the parents were allowed in to see what they learned today. They all got lined up on the line, and Miss Kristen went to turn on the cd player...and Ava said I got it...and ran and beat her to hit play. Little miss helpful!

This is a small class because its summer session. Ava and all the 4 year olds lol

Doing some tap dancing!

Getting stickers at the end of class

I am so proud of my little dancer. She did so great! She followed directions and didn't need her mommy. Went right up to all the kids and introduced herself!  I have no fear that when she starts school, she will be excellent!
